Terms of Service

Effective Date: March 12, 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User") and Sonic Technologies, operating the Jwala AI platform (accessible at https://www.jwalaai.com). By creating an account, accessing the application, or purchasing a subscription, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms in their entirety.

1. The Jwala Service & Eligibility

Jwala is an AI-powered conversational platform featuring two distinct interaction styles: Skyboy (empathetic and supportive) and Clowngod (direct and unfiltered). The service also includes specialized modules: the Court Room and Image Analysis.

Eligibility: You must be at least 18 years of age to use Jwala. By using the service, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement and have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement. Jwala reserves the right to terminate accounts where this representation is found to be false.

Account Registration: You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials. You agree to notify us immediately at contact@jwalaai.com if you suspect any unauthorized use of your account.

2. Subscription Tiers & Facilities

Jwala operates on a tiered access model. By selecting a plan, you agree to the following features and limitations:

  • The Spark Plan (Free): This is the default tier. It includes 50 free Jwala queries per day, 10 image analysis usages per day, and 10 Court Room sessions per day. This plan provides access to the Skyboy persona only.
  • The 24-Hour Pass: A one-time access pass priced at ৳100 BDT. It grants unlimited Jwala queries for a continuous 24-hour period from activation, 20 image analysis usages, and 20 Court Room sessions. This pass cannot be paused or transferred.
  • The 1-Month Premium Plan: A full-access subscription priced at ৳800 BDT per month. It unlocks all premium features for 30 days, including unlimited Jwala queries, unlimited image analysis, and unlimited Court Room sessions.

Sonic Technologies reserves the right to modify plan pricing, features, or availability with reasonable prior notice communicated via the platform or email.

3. Billing, bKash Integration & Refund Policy

All paid tiers are processed via bKash, a licensed mobile financial service provider in Bangladesh.

  • Process: Upon choosing a plan, a unique transaction reference is generated. You must complete the payment via the provided bKash merchant link and submit your Transaction ID (TrxID) for verification.
  • Activation: Access is granted upon successful validation of the TrxID. Sonic Technologies is not responsible for delays caused by incorrect TrxID submission or bKash service interruptions.
  • Expiry: Monthly subscriptions remain active until the 30-day expiry, after which the account reverts to the Spark Plan unless a new payment is verified. Unused days are non-transferable and non-rollover.
  • Refund Policy: Refund requests are evaluated on a case-by-case basis. To initiate a refund request, you must contact us at contact@jwalaai.com within 7 days of the payment date, providing your TrxID and a clear reason for the request. Refunds are at the sole discretion of Sonic Technologies and will only be approved following a proper internal assessment. Refunds will not be issued for partial usage of a subscription period or for the 24-Hour Pass once access has been granted.

4. Global Impact & Humanitarian Mission

Jwala is a mission-driven platform. As part of our commitment to social responsibility:

  • Free Seats: For every paid subscription, Jwala funds a "free seat" (full premium access) for a user in a high-trauma conflict zone or humanitarian disaster area.
  • Direct Aid: We allocate a fixed percentage (1–5%) of every subscription to recognized organizations providing immediate physical relief to victims of war and humanitarian crises.

These contributions are made in good faith. While we strive to fulfill this commitment consistently, operational or regulatory constraints may periodically affect disbursement timelines.

5. Content Disclaimer: The "Clowngod" Policy

The Clowngod persona is intentionally programmed to speak "unfiltered truth" and may use blunt, provocative, or potentially offensive language.

  • Explicit Consent: By unlocking or activating this persona, you explicitly consent to interacting with an AI that does not prioritize emotional comfort. This consent is logged at the time of activation.
  • Liability Waiver: Sonic Technologies and its representatives are not liable for any emotional distress, discomfort, or perceived harm arising from AI-generated interactions under the Clowngod persona.

6. Not a Crisis Service (Medical & Legal Disclaimer)

Jwala is not a licensed medical, legal, or mental health service provider. All AI-generated responses are for informational and entertainment purposes only. Conversations on this platform do not constitute therapy, clinical diagnosis, legal counsel, or any form of professional advice.

Emergency: If you are in immediate danger, experiencing a mental health crisis, or contemplating self-harm, please contact local emergency services in Bangladesh (999) or a qualified medical or mental health professional immediately. Do not rely on Jwala in place of emergency support.

7. User Conduct & Legal Compliance

By using Jwala, you agree to use the platform in a lawful and responsible manner. You are strictly prohibited from:

  • Using Jwala to generate, distribute, or promote hate speech, violence, or harassment of any person or group.
  • Attempting to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract the underlying AI logic or proprietary systems.
  • Impersonating another individual or using false information to create an account.
  • Engaging in any activity that violates applicable laws of Bangladesh, including the Cyber Security Act 2023.
  • Using the platform in any way that could damage, disable, or impair the service or its infrastructure.

Sonic Technologies reserves the right to suspend or permanently terminate any account found to be in violation of these conduct standards, without prior notice and without refund.

8. Intellectual Property & Data Ownership

All content on the Jwala platform — including but not limited to the brand name "Jwala," the AI personas "Skyboy" and "Clowngod," the Court Room feature, visual designs, and underlying technology — is the exclusive property of Sonic Technologies and is protected under applicable intellectual property law.

User-Generated Content: You retain ownership of the content you submit to Jwala (your queries and inputs). By using the service, you grant Sonic Technologies a limited, non-exclusive license to process this content solely for the purpose of delivering AI responses and improving the service quality.

Data Rights: Your personal data is handled in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Ordinance 2025. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time via the "Manage Subscription" section or by emailing contact@jwalaai.com.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Sonic Technologies and its affiliates, employees, and representatives shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or in connection with your use of, or inability to use, the Jwala platform. This includes, without limitation, loss of data, loss of revenue, emotional distress, or any damages resulting from reliance on AI-generated content.

In all cases, our total cumulative liability to you for any claims arising under these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid to Jwala in the 30 days preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Sonic Technologies and its officers, directors, employees, agents, and partners from and against any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or relating to: (a) your use of the Jwala service; (b) your violation of these Terms; or (c) your violation of any third-party rights, including intellectual property or privacy rights.

11. Account Termination

By You: You may close your Jwala account at any time by contacting us at contact@jwalaai.com. Termination does not entitle you to a refund of any active subscription period unless approved through the refund assessment process outlined in Section 3.

By Jwala: We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at our sole discretion for violations of these Terms, fraudulent payment activity, or conduct that poses a risk to other users or our platform — with or without prior notice.

Upon termination, your right to access the service ceases immediately. Provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination — including Sections 8, 9, 10, and 13 — shall remain in effect.

12. Cancellation & "Pass the Torch"

You may cancel your monthly subscription at any time. Upon cancellation, you will be offered the opportunity to "Pass the Torch" — a voluntary option to fund a one-time micro-grant for a new user in financial distress via a specific bKash donation link. If declined, your premium access will remain active until the end of your current 30-day window, after which no further charges will apply.

13. Changes to These Terms

Sonic Technologies reserves the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Effective Date" at the top of this page and, where reasonably practicable, notify you via email or an in-app notification. Your continued use of Jwala after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not agree to the updated Terms, you must discontinue use of the service.

14. Force Majeure

Sonic Technologies shall not be held liable for any failure or delay in the performance of its obligations under these Terms caused by circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, natural disasters, internet outages, government actions, pandemics, or third-party service failures.

15. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the People's Republic of Bangladesh. Any disputes arising from or in connection with these Terms shall first be subject to good-faith negotiation. If unresolved, disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in Dhaka, Bangladesh.
